While the temperatures were well below freezing—with winds that tested even the thickest of down jackets—outside, Jamie Jones kept the temperatures up in Hell’s Kitchen with a heated night at Space Ibiza New York this past Saturday.

A diverse crowd represented the bizarre intersection of Valentine’s Day with the ongoing New York Fashion Week and NBA All-Star Weekend, which brought out a group of partiers ready to go all night for Jones’ special extended set. The Hot Creations co-founder came armed with two Pioneer CDJs, a Pioneer RMX-1000, and a vinyl turntable (as well as an army of Space Ibiza’s top-notch Funktion One speakers), delivering a pulse-pounding set that was as brilliantly nuanced as it was groovy.

A highlight? A perfectly timed drop of Justin Long’s remix of DJ Sneak’s “Respect Bonito” right around 5:30 AM. It was well past the time most clubs consider peak hour, but the dancefloor was still packed to the brim with grooving clubbers who were ready to take it until morning. Jones stayed on the decks until well past sunrise, proving his prowess at literally keeping the party going all night long.
