One of house and techno’s most revered names is breaking out of the clubs and into the throes of couture, as Dixon provided the mix for high-end fashion house Givenchy’s fashion show this past week.

Presented as part of Paris men’s Fashion Week, the show showed off the brand’s Fall 2016 menswear and Spring 2016 haute couture lines. Filled with enough black jackets and studded shirts to fill a Bushwick warehouse afterhours, the show’s neon-lit pink halls were a fitting environment for Dixon’s dark techno soundscapes. Heavy on grinding synths and hypnotic click drums, Dixons’ track selection included works from Little Dragon, The Golden Filter, and Ricardo Tobar. This year’s show wasn’t Givenchy’s first flirtation with the dance underground, either: The Martinez Brothers mixed the past two years’ displays.
