This past weekend dance music lovers migrated south for another edition of Insomniac’s EDC Orlando at Tinker Field in what would be the record-breaking year under the electric sky.
Serving as the first-year Orlando’s Electric Daisy Carnival expanded to three-days, the festival went bigger and better than ever before opening up the grounds to 40 acres and hosting around 225,000 attendees. This was more than DOUBLE compared to last year’s numbers. (110,000 festival-goers.)
With over 160 artists providing the soundtrack to the weekend across Kinetic Field, Circuit Grounds, Neon Garden, and Stereo Bloom in addition to a couple of art cars, there was a wide variety of talent to choose from no matter what genre may tickle your fancy. It’s safe to say Ultra Music Festival might have some when it comes to which festival reigns supreme in Florida. EDC Orlando has quickly become quite the force to be reckoned with these days!
Now with there being eleven hours of action for three whole days of the festival, if I delivered a play-by-play of the weekend, this would turn into more of a novel. Take a live look into the madness that was EDC Orlando 2019 below and enjoy!
