It’s no secret that Chus & Ceballos are two of the hardest-working DJs in dance music. With a near endless stream of tour dates—often including single-day double headers throughout the busy summer season—ever present in addition to the duo’s continual single releases and responsibilities as Stereo Productions label heads, there’s little time for downtime for the Spanish pair.

2015 is looking no different for the duo, with a new compilation and sample pack already having seen release before January is even halfway done. The boys have curated the Playa Del Carmen 2015 compilation—available on Beatport here—for their Stereo Productions imprint to coincide with the ongoing BPM Festival in Mexico. The pair has also released their Iberican Grooves Vol.2 sample pack, comprised of 381 elements for producers to integrate into their own work.

However, amidst all of their current ventures, Chus & Ceballos are taking a look back on 2014 by sharing some of their favorite albums and EPs ahead of a five-date mini tour of the US launching Friday, January 16. Check out the pair’s picks below.

Dosem – City Cuts [Suara]

“The Spanish wizard, Marc Dosem is without a doubt one of the best newcomers and most prolific producers in the electronic scene in the last few years and this third album’s the proof, a true confirmation of his personal sound and his eclectic talent. As Marc says, “City Cuts is more than a big room techno album, its eleven different life experiences from around the globe.” His music is driving and melodic at the same time, with evolving melodies and driving beats, that’s how we describe Marc’s style. We can feel more experimentation in the textures and rhythms than the usual extended single versions. This is more than just techno, it’s techno that touches your soul.”

Sam Paganini – Satellite [Drumcode]

“2014 has been the year of Drumcode and its artists, and the Italian techno talent Sam Paganini has been a big part of this success. The album is full of energy, big room melodic techno with profound kicks, and deep synth baselines. It’s the first time that we’ve played more than 1 track from an artist album, and with this one we play every single! It’s priceless and also has the support of the most renowned techno gurus. In this album Sam shows us his usual spacey techno beats and catchy melodic riffs complemented with some different landscapes that have their place on a long play.”

Chus & Ceballos – Balearica 2015 (V.A) [Stereo Productions]

“Balearica is synonymous with Ibiza, and 2014 was a great year for us in the White Island. As a tribute to all the magic that Ibiza gave us over the last decades we proudly compiled this annual summer musical landscape. A bundle of beautiful songs lead by our own summer piece with Leonardo Gonnelli ‘Soledad,’ one of the most popular tracks of the summer. Balearica brings some fresh air to the dead house genre, flavored by that Latin and Balearic beats that only Spanish artists can blend together.”

Joris Voorn – Nobody Knows [Green]
Uner – Tune432 [Diynamic]
Defected presents Nic Fanciulli in the House (V.A) [Defected]
Guy Gerber – 11 11 [Rumors]
Christian Smith – Stranger Than Paradise [Tronic]
Desolat X-Sampler (V.A) [Desolat]
Saved 100 (V.A) [Saved]
