Summer is over, and the onset of autumn means it’s time for the electronic music movers and shakers—and no shortage of party-hungry revelers—to jet off to Amsterdam for this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event.

The five-day event once again brings together the brightest minds of the dance music realm, with a full-fledged conference hosting multiple days’ worth of seminars, panels, and talks. Some of the highlights of this year’s conference programming include one-on-ones with Roger Sanchez, Machinedrum, and Jeff Mills, an OWSLA panel featuring Skrillex, Vindata, and Wiwek, and gear-focused discussions like “Group Therapy: My Addiction to Modulars.”

Elsewhere, delegates can get their hands on Pioneer DJ’s wares at De Brakke Grond, go behind the scenes of Dubfire’s studio and production work at Compagnietheater, and check out a special TRAKTOR panel featuring Joris Voorn, Blond:ish, and more.

Of course, what ADE is perhaps most known for is its staggering festival programming, which features over 2000 artists spread across 450+ events. Taking place at over 115 venues, the five-plus day gauntlet of EDM is a true test of any dance music fan’s mettle.

Some of our top picks for the week include Armada Captivating at Undercurrent tonight, All Gone Pete Tong at AIR and Drumcode at Gashouder on Thursday, Jamie Jones’ Paradise at NDSM-Docklands and Dave Clarke & Friends at Melkweg on Friday. That’s just the absolute tip of the iceberg of ADE week, though—head to Amsterdam-Dance-Event.nl to make your own schedule and grab tickets.

DJ Times is on the ground once again this year, taking in the best of the dance music world’s offerings. For those unable to attend this year, make sure to head to Instagram.com/DJTimesMag, where we are hosting a series of artist takeovers that will give fans an inside look into Andrew Rayel and Goldfish’s ADE experiences on Wednesday and Friday, respectively. We’ll also be chatting with some of the scene’s freshest and hottest talent for DJ Times TV, including Blond:ish, John Dahlbäck, Blasterjaxx, and more.
