Denver – Two weeks after Sleepy & Boo scored a big road win in the City of Brotherly Love, the ABDJ tour heads west, no doubt seeking a Rocky Mountain High.

Indeed, America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by Weedmaps & DJ Times brought NYC tech-house to Philadelphia this past July 7, as ABDJ nominees Sleepy & Boo slayed it at Coda nightclub. Located in Philly’s Rittenhouse Square, Coda saw some late-night action as the afterhours crowd filled the joint and grooved well into the early morning. Of course, DJ Times was there, handing out recent issues – including the June issue featuring ABDJ nom/hometown hero, Josh Wink – and taking votes for the fans’ favorite jocks.

Now it’s onto Denver today and tomorrow (July 21-22) for Global Dance Festival. Presented by Triad Dragons, GDF has moved from the venerable grounds of Red Rocks Amphitheatre in nearby Morrison, Col., to Sports Authority Field at Mile High – the Denver Broncos’ stadium. But fear not, DJ fans, this year’s lineup remains plenty potent.

In fact, America’s Best DJ nominees on the bill include Kaskade, Herobust and Z-Trip on Friday and Porter Robinson, Deorro, 3lau and Green Velvet on Saturday. When you throw in performances from favorites like Hardwell, Nero, and Louis the Child – plus special sets like Excision B2B Datsik – GDF fans can expect a multi-genre experience that includes whopping EDM grooves, big bass beats, turntablist party-rockin’ and tweaky Chicago house – something for everyone. After Global Dance Festival, stay tuned for more from America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by Weedmaps & DJ Times as the promotion rolls into Baltimore for Moonrise Festival on Aug. 12-13 and Atlantic City for DJ Expo Aug. 14-17. At Moonrise, ABDJ noms on the bill include Carnage, Kaskade, Porter Robinson, Pretty Lights, RL Grime, Seven Lions, Lee Foss, Markus Schulz, Morgan Page and Sleepy & Boo.
