American DJ is offering flexibility and innovation with the announcement of its latest hex-LED par fixtures: the 5P Hex and Ultra Hex Bar 6.
The 5P Hex is a versatile LED Par fixture equipped with five 10-watt hex-LEDs (RGBWA+UV), giving users a range of powerful color options. 63 built-in color macros and smooth mixing allow users to get creative and unique with their lighting setups, with a 30-degree beam of angle allowing for a range of positioning options. The unit is capable of lighting from both above or from the ground, and ADJ’s new patent-pending body design allows the 5P Hex to lie flat for a more practical uplighting solution. Users can also purchase the 5P Hex Pearl, a version that features white casing.
The Ultra Hex Bat 6 offers wider washes than the 5P Hex thanks to its 23-inch long linear body. The fixture utilizes six 10-watt hex-LEDs and features a 40-degree beam angle as well as 63 color macros. The Ultra Hex Bar 6 is also capable of both overhead washes and upward facing effects.
The 5P Hex offers five operational modes: Static Color, RGBAW+UV Dimmer, Program, Sound Active, and DMX Controlled (6-, 7-, 8-, and 12-channel).The Ultra Hex Bar 6 also adds an Auto Run mode as well as an extra DMX channel (18-).
