Ableton’s Live 9.2 update is now available to users as a public beta.

Ableton Live 9.2 adds punchier transients for Complex and Complex Pro warp modes, improved fixed-tempo audio detection and warping, lower latency for sets containing Max for Live devices or third party plug-ins, and fully latency-compensated automation. Live 9.2 also adds a new Tuner device for instrumentalists.

Push users will now have access to a 64 pads drum mode as well as modulation wheel control and pitch bend via touchstrip, improved aftertouch pad response, and the addition of aftertouch to many of Live’s core library sounds.

The full Live 9.2 update will be available for free for all Live 9 owners, but you can download it as a public beta now here. Find additional information from the Release Notes here. Watch finger-drummer Mad Zach take advantage of the new 64 pads drum mode in his new performance video below.
