Since the calendar has flipped over to 2020, Louis The Child has been keeping things consistent with a steady flow of releases with the latest coming in the form of “Nobody Like You” featuring Vera Blue.
After lighting up our speakers with “Little Things” alongside Quinn XCII and Chelsea Cutler, the Chicago natives added to the vibration collection of records with a exhilarating, future bass-tinged gem of a production that is simply bliss.
Louis The Child says about the track, “The beat for this song had been sitting on our computers for about a year before we wrote to it. It reminded us a lot of the synth-pop music that was coming out in the early 2010s from people like CHVRCHES, The Naked And Famous, Passion Pit, etc. (Martin from CHVRCHES actually helped write the lyrics with us, which was a really cool experience). Vera Blue absolutely crushed it on the vocals, those harmonies in the bridge get us every time. We hope this song brings some life and happiness to you in these times.”
The duo’s newest single also comes in conjunction with duo revealing the tracklist for their highly anticipated debut album Here For Now which is set to be released on June 12th!
