Looking to spice up the beginning of the week, DJ Times has started a new series where we will revisit all the timeless classics from the realm of electronic music each and every Tuesday going by the aptly titled “Timeless Tuesday.”
To kick things off, we’re going back to July 2010 when the world got its first taste of Swedish supergroup Swedish House Mafia with their debut single, “One (Your Name)” which was originally debuted on BBC Radio 1 with Zane Lowe and coined the hottest record in April 2010.
“One (Your Name)” was an electrifying ball of euphoria featuring American artist Pharrell Williams that was one of the first to bring electronic dance music into the “mainstream” climbing the Billboard charts landing No. 6 on Dance/Mix Show Airplay and No. 16 on Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales.
Now almost eight years old officially, the trio’s monumental debut single still rocks dancefloors across the globe.
