ADJ has expanded its budget-friendly Startec Series with the addition of the Jelly Gressor, a new fixture offering dual effects from one compact source.
The Jelly Gressor joins fellow Startec Series fixtures Stinger, Mini Deker, and Starburst, and the new unit is equipped with six 1W LEDs (two red, green, and blue) housed in a transparent plastic case. The derby moonflower gives users two distinctive effects with its bright tri-colo beams that radiate from the glowing, color-changing case. The unit’s beam angle is a wide 140 degrees, allowing users to spread its striking beams across large areas. Additionally, the Jelly Gressor has a low power draw of just 21W and can run continuously all night.
The Jelly Gressor’s plug-and-play operation is aimed at mobile DJs, with a Sound Active mode that incorporates a number of built-in color-change programs that make the unit’s moonflower effects move to the beat of the music. The Jelly Gressor’s low four-pound weight and compact frame allows for extreme portability.
The Jelly Gressor is available now from ADJ USA. Watch a demo video below and go to ADJ.com/Jelly-Gressor for more information.
