Just a few weeks after Bonnaroo was forced to cancel due to flooding From Hurricane Ida, Imagine Music Festival 2021 has officially been canceled due to severe weather from Hurricane Nicholas.
Set to take place at Chattahoochee Hills in Atlanta, Georgia this weekend (September 17 – 19), organizers have no choice but to cancel with the festival forecast calling for rain all weekend long in addition to scattered thunderstorms.
The Imagine team shared as part of their official statement, “We are devastated to share this news, however, mother nature leaves us no option with the remains of Hurricane Nicholas causing severe weather throughout the region. Our public safety team, meteorologists, local authorities, and our experienced directors have determined that the potential for severe weather impacting the event site, creating an unacceptable risk of unsafe conditions for guests and staff.”
