Easily considered one of the most anticipated collaborations in the world of dubstep over the past year, Excision and Subtronics‘ bone-rattling “Bunker Buster” has arrived!
Being the first collaboration between these two bass behemoths (and hopefully not their last), “Bunker Buster” serves as the audio equivalent of an audio assault on the listener’s eardrums but I guess that was a safe assumption with the track’s title.
As expected, “Bunker Buster” is easily one of the filthiest tunes you’ll hear all year being a steady barrage of merciless bass that has arrived with the thought of a life post-quarantine becomes more tangible with each
passing second and festival looking to make their return this summer.
“Writing a tune with Excision has been nothing short of a complete full-circle dubstep experience for me. I’ve seen his shows as a fan probably 15-20+ times way back before I started making solid music,” Subtronics said. “The opportunity to produce something with such an icon is nothing short of mind-blowing, not to mention, how ridiculously well our sound design complemented each other’s mixdowns. This was super fun to work on. Jeff is the king of kings.”
