After opening the new year hinting at the release of new material, the influential duo that is Groove Armada has returned in a big way unveiling the first new single “Get Out On The Dancefloor” from their album and accompanying video.
Serving as a taste of what’s to come from their first body of work since their album Black Light which was released back in 2010, “Get Out On The Dancefloor” is an exhilarating gem of a production driven by vocals from Empire of the Sun and Pnau frontman Nick Littlemore.
“As I went through the recordings of Nick, I realized there were lots of cool phrases and great deliveries we could use. It took a very long time to find the right order for them, but once we had that line ‘Get out on the dancefloor, it felt vibey. Slotting the music underneath was the easy bit!” of Andy Cato of Groove Armada recalls.
