With all tour and festival dates on hold due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), there is certainly going to be no shortage of releases when it comes to the world of electronic dance music. Now that artists have plenty of free time on their hands with the world in a state of social isolation, they’re spending most of their time cooking up new tunes or releasing whatever they’ve been sitting on to help keep their fans entertained. The latest example of this, Louis The Child releasing their remix of Valee’s “Womp Womp.”
After announcing they’d be sharing previously unreleased remixes exclusively on YouTube in the coming weeks, the Chicago duo kicks things for with a colorful rendition of Valee’s original single that they created for playing out during their recent “Dear Sense” tour.
“We made this remix for fun to play on our Dear Sense Tour in 2018. Since then it’s become a favorite amongst our fans and one of our favorites to play out. We’re huge fans of the original song and since we retired it from our show we figured we’d let y’all enjoy it!” Louis The Child explains.
