Brooklyn, N.Y. – After kicking off at Detroit’s Movement festival Memorial Day weekend, then landing at Brooklyn’s Schimanski club this past Saturday, America’s Best DJ Summer Tour returns to the popular NYC venue tonight.
Longtime New York fave Boris rocked Schimanski’s “Jungle Party” last week with a six-hour set of tribal-house, which saw costumed and painted-up fans going mad late into the evening. Tonight, it’ll be an evening of sub-shuddering bass from Svdden Death, one of the American dubstep scene’s rising talents. (You can read DJ Times’ latest story on Svdden Death here.)
Like last week’s party, DJ Times will be in the house again tonight with a dedicated booth to pass out recent issues and engage with fans voting for their favorite America’s Best DJ nominees. As always, DJ Times has nominated 100 U.S.-based jocks for this year’s title and fans can vote online here.
