With the iconic trio dominating the scene once again since their return with No Tourists having reached number 1 in the UK album charts followed by a sold-out twenty-date UK and European arena tour in addition to taking over North America this May with their first headline tour in 10 years, this morning news has broke that The Prodigy‘s frontman Keith Flint was found dead at his home in Dunmow, Essex at the age of 49. According to the band, he took his own life.
Liam Howlett, who formed the group in 1990, wrote on Instagram: “I can’t believe I’m saying this but our brother Keith took his own life over the weekend. I’m shell shocked, fuckin angry, confused and heart broken ….. r.i.p brother Liam”.
It is with deepest shock and sadness that we can confirm the death of our brother and best friend Keith Flint. A true pioneer, innovator and legend. He will be forever missed.
