The Midnight Kids are on a mission in 2019! After popping onto the radar with a quite impressive 2018, not even a full week after dropping their remix of Gryffin’s “Bye Bye” the blossoming duo is back with another remix.
Celebrating 10 thousand followers on Soundcloud, these promising young talents have decided to work their retro magic on Porter Robinson‘s “Say My Name” giving it quite the majestic makeover.
“Porter Robinson changed the way we look at making music. He’s a huge inspiration to both of us. ‘Say My Name’ was a record that we listened to nonstop when it came out. It was a record that really changed a lot for us individually. For me (Dylan) it was a huge part of the reason why I fell in love with dance music. And for me (Kyle) it was one of the first songs that got me into the house/complextro genre, something that heavily influences the music I make today. Without this record coming out things could have been different for us. With all that being said, we thought it would be a great idea to put our own spin on it and give it to you guys as a gift for everything you all have done for us.
