There is certainly no denying that the LA-based duo SLANDER has had a colossal 2018 with a slew of new releases in addition to the launch of their new label, Gud Vibrations, with their good friend NGHTMRE. While the new year may be knocking at our door, these two refuse to take their foot off the gas with the release of another monsterous collaboration, “Running To You.”
Connecting with fellow bass enthusiast Spag Heddy for what is the second single from their forthcoming Headbangers Ball EP, their latest release is a punishing, melodic bass beauty accompanied by ethereal vocals from Elle Vee.
“‘Running To You’ is finally here! We’ve wanted to work with Spag Heddy for a while now, and finally getting this one done with him was a truly amazing experience. For this song, we tried to blend our sounds together as seamlessly as possible by taking the listener from a deeply emotional moment straight into a heavy one!! We thought this duality of emotion really made the track feel special since it’s very two-faced and doesn’t sit in any traditional genre category. We hope you guys enjoy this rollercoaster!
