The world of DJing is about to change forever with the announcement that Serato users will soon have an endless song library at their fingertips thanks to new streaming integrations with SoundCloud and TIDAL.
DJs will now have access to both platform’s musical library (with paid subscription) allowing saved playlists on the streaming platforms to automatically appear in the Serato DJ library as separate playlists resulting in a smooth, familiar workflow.
“For a long time we’ve known the biggest barrier for new DJs is finding music,” says Nick Maclaren, Chief Strategy Officer at Serato. “Now they can hit the ground running with a cache of millions of new songs.”
“They have such an extensive catalog of unique tracks unavailable anywhere else online. Now DJs can play music they’ve never been able to before, which is huge!”
