Have you heard the news? Next weekend, Red Bull Music will be hosting Red Bull Music Presents: Hollerboard Redux at the Warehouse on Watts on September 28th.
Featuring some of Hollerboard’s most renowned alumni including A-Trak, Spank Rock, 2¢ (Four Color Zack & Craze), Jubilee and many more, this the event will celebrate the Hollerboard, a legendary music forum that preceded the Soundcloud streaming era and brought up some of the iconic artists we know and listen to today.
Hollerboard was a very unique, online gathering place for DJs, producers, promoters, and party kids to come together to share music, roast friends, and connect over a shared love for cross-genre mash-ups and dance music.
Online interactions often turned into offline parties and collaborations, and there were plenty of bookings, label signings, tours, and even some relationships, that arose from the forum,” said Jubilee.
