First, it was the unannounced Swedish House Mafia reunion down at Ultra Music Festival Miami, and now it’s Showtek returning to their hardstyle roots. 2018 us jampacked with surprises, and it’s only April!
The Dutch duo had made a name for themselves quickly becoming household names in the world of hardstyle before choosing to steer away from the genre experimenting with new sounds, but after almost six long years of waiting, Showtek returned to their hardstyle roots for Australia’s Knockout Circuz grand finale.
For just over an hour and a half, the brotherly duo bombarded the crowd with a number of classics including “FTS,” “Party Lover,” “Raver” and many more. For those who have been following the duo from the very beginning, it was a set reminiscent of their heyday back in 2007.
