Baltimore, Md. – America’s Best DJ Summer Tour Presented by Weedmaps & DJ Times has reached its final month with two big, back-to-back events on tap – one in Baltimore, the other in Atlantic City.
First, Moonrise Festival is set for Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 12-13. The event, produced by Steez Promo at Baltimore’s legendary Pimlico Race Course, will present 80 DJs and electronic acts on four daily stages, including a dozen America’s Best DJ nominees.
Moonrise’s Saturday schedule includes performances from ABDJ noms Seven Lions, RL Grime, Carnage, Kaskade (former two-time ABDJ), Morgan Page, Sleepy & Boo, and Lee Foss. Sunday Moonrise performers include Markus Schulz (another two-time ABDJ), Pretty Lights, Porter Robinson, Carnage (again), plus Flosstradamus and Dillon Francis (performing as Dillstradamus).
Of course, DJ Times will be on the grounds with a dedicated activation booth, taking votes for ABDJ nominees, handing out the latest issues of the magazine, plus a variety of cool Weedmaps swag. Stop by DJ Times booth Saturday and Sunday for free goodies and to vote for your favorite American jock.
At DJ Expo, which runs Aug. 14-17 in Atlantic City, one familiar ABDJ nominee will rock the decks, as DJ Skribble will play Ivan Kane’s Kiss Kiss Nightclub in The Tropicana Casino & Resort on Aug. 16. One of America’s most versatile DJs, the New York-based Skribble will spin a DJ Expo afterparty at one of AC’s more unique venues. Free for Expo badgeholders and to the public, this annual event will be sure to blaze deep into the night. We’ll see you on the dancefloor.
