Setting sail on Saturday, May 28, Chicago-based artist collective/label/event promoter Tied presents their inaugural boat cruise featuring two highly prolific DJs: Bass Culture records head honcho D’Julz and Sublevel records’ Doc Martin.
With Movement set to kick off at noon on May 28, the party is timed perfectly to allow for Detroit locals and Movement Electronic Music Festival attendees alike to take in the views of the city from the deck of a ship helmed by two talented house music legends.
After boarding at 12:30 PM and shoving off at 1 PM, the boat party will run until 4 PM, when The Diamond Belle Boat will return to dock back at 1340 Atwater Street in Detroit. After that, it’s time to slap on your wristband and enter what’s arguably the USA’s greatest techno festival.
Note that this is a pre-sale only event—meaning no tickets will be sold at the dock—so be sure to snag yours here now.
As an added bonus, Tied has partnered with DownBeats earplugs to offer the first 100 attendees that board the boat their very own custom-branded Tied DownBeats ear plugs.
Location: Rivard Plaza — 1340 Atwater St, Detroit, MI
