With two stellar LPs under her belt already, Katy B has paired up with Chris Lorenzo for “I Wanna Be,” the latest single from her forthcoming album Honey.
“I Wanna Be” is the latest star-studded collab the British vocalist has prepared for the third album, which features an army of dance music’s finest—including Major Lazer, Hannah Wants, and Jamie Jones—behind the decks. For the track, Katy has enlisted Birmingham baseline house maestro Chris Lorenzo to deliver a subdued slice of melancholia primed for the dancefloor. Glittering synths and Katy’s gorgeous vocals characterize much of the track’s glacial sound, with flurrying hi-hats ensuring this one’s ready for the late night.
