With The NAMM Show kicking off tomorrow in Anaheim, CA, Chauvet DJ is prepping for a massive 2016 showing with its announcement of the products it will be debuting at its booth this year.
At Atlantic City, NJ’s DJ Expo this past August, Chauvet DJ premiered its D-Fi USB technology, which allows users to convert its USB-enabled fixtures into wireless ones via a self-powered transceiver. Chauvet DJ will announce a wealth of new USB-compatible lighting products and fixtures at NAMM this week from January 21-24. Overall, the company will introduce eight new USB fixtures, the wireless Freedom Stick Pack, two Intimidator moving head lights, and the powerful Ellipsoidal fixture.

The popular 4BAR , already a favorite among entertainers looking for a dynamic and easy pack-n-go lighting system gets an upgrade with the new 4BAR USB. Users can easily set-up and tear down in minutes using the included tripod, wireless footswitch and carry bags and D-Fi USB compatibility for wireless master/slave or DMX control means even more flexibility and convenience.
SlimBANK T18 USB is a powerful washlight with D-Fi USB compatibility and 18 tri-color (RGB) LEDs to achieve smooth color mixing. Its adjustable barn doors help direct and focus the light. Convenient control options include auto and sound-activation programs as well as DMX.
CHAUVET DJ will debut five new USB compatible par style washlights at NAMM. SlimPAR H6 USB is low-profile LED PAR with 6-in-1 LED technology (RGBAW+UV). SlimPAR Pro H USB is an LED par designed for any application in need of a high-power, hex-color (RGBAW+UV), low-profile wash light. SlimPAR Pro Q USB is a powerful quad-color (RGBA) USB enabled washlight. SlimPAR Pro W USB is a low-profile, variable white LED washlight designed for any application in need of adjustable color temperatures featuring tri-color (cool white, warm white, and amber) LEDs. To add a new UV USB enabled fixture, CHAUVET DJ introduces the SlimPAR QUV 12 a low-profile, high-output quad-color (RGB + UV) washlight.
Rounding out CHAUVET DJ’s new USB compatible fixture offerings at NAMM will be the COLORband T3 USB, a full-size LED strip light that functions as a chase effect, blinder or wall washer and features 3 zones of control create amazing chasing effects. The COLORband T3 has high-power, tri-color LEDs that nearly eliminate multicolor shadows. Control is easy with convenient access to multiple pre-built programs with or without DMX, sound-activated programs and D-Fi USB compatibility for wireless Master/Slave or DMX control.
CHAUVET DJ continues its wireless lighting technology innovation with the introduction of the new Freedom Stick, a unique and versatile free-standing LED array featuring tri-colored LEDs (RGB). Each LED can be pixel-mapped for ultimate show and programming creativity. Freedom Stick is battery-powered with a built-in D-Fi receiver that allows the stick to be placed anywhere. Use multiple Freedom Sticks as dazzling tabletop centerpieces, for outlining aisles, room separators or inside sticks of truss for the ultimate truss warmers.
The detachable metal base allows for truss mounting (clamps sold separately) for added display flexibility. Two new exciting Intimidator products will be launched at NAMM in January. Intimidator Spot 155 is a bright, 32 W compact, and lightweight LED moving head perfect for mobile applications. Users can rely on it to energize any dance floor with the fast and precise movements, crisp optics and even output. Intimidator Spot 355 IRC is a brilliant moving head that replaces the popular Intimidator Spot LED 350 and features motorized focus for crisp gobo and beam changing effects. It is fitted with a 90 W LED to enhance any event or application. Seven already installed rotating gobos plus six wedding-themed gobos give users plenty of options for any themed event. Beams always remain on the dance floor using the built-in, innovative Totem mode.
Also making its debut at NAMM is the exciting and powerful new Ellipsoidal 100Z, a powerful spot fixture featuring sharp pattern projection with a 100-watt warm white LED light source. This versatile fixture works with metal or glass gobos to create incredible gobo or pattern details. The manual zoom and framing shutters make it simple to control beams.
CHAUVET DJ’s dynamic line of effect lighting gets new additions as well with the Beamer 6 FX, Beamer 8, Swarm Wash FX and Kinta FX. Beamer 6 FX is a multi-effect light that includes adjustable RGBW beams, a round SMD strobe and a red/green pattern laser that produces thousands of razor sharp beams. Large room coverage is possible by positioning each of the 6 RGBW beams independently. The ultra-bright LED strobe ring with built-in motion effects creates dynamic lightshows. Beamer 8 is a 2-in-1 LED light featuring 8 independently adjustable LEDs that deliver bright RGB beams and punchy strobes that create exciting chase and slow motion effects. Swarm Wash FX is a 4-in-1 LED light that combines an RGBAW rotating derby, RGB+UV wash, red/green laser, and a ring of white SMD strobes. Scorpion Bar RG is an exciting new addition to CHAUVET DJ’s laser products. Scorpion Bar RG is an array laser fixture that creates dynamic aerial effects using patented Fat Beam technology.
