Matthew Koma wants to get producers everywhere in on the success of his debut solo single “So Fuckin’ Romantic” with the launch of an official remix competition for the release.
Koma has teamed up with Spotify, RCA, and Beatport for the competition, which tasks producers with remixing the single for the chance to win a slew of prizes. One lucky remixer will be awarded a collaboration production session with Koma himself, in which he will select his favorite instrumental track from the winner, write a topline for it, help find a vocalist, and remotely produce the vocal track.
Additionally, the winner will receive the opportunity to remix Koma’s next single as well as an A&R meeting with RCA records, a signed merch pack, and a Blvd Supply clothing prize pack. The winning remix will also be released on Beatport via RCA.
