American DJ is giving expanding its Inno Pocket series with the launch of the Inno Pocket Z4, a powerful, yet portable mini-moving head.
The Pocket Z4 joins the already-popular Spot, Wash, Scan, and Roll, offering both strength and versatility in one compact unit. Built with four 10W quad-color (RGBW) LEDs and a variable 10-60-degree beam angle, the unit allows users to switch between concise slicing beams and far-reaching washes. The Pocket Z4 is also equipped with a 540-degree pan and 180-degree tilt movement, enabling increased scope with which to send beams and washes dancing around the venue.
The unit’s movement can also be inverted by taking advantage of the pan/tilt inversion mode, letting users generate a synchronized mirror lighting display that runs through built-in lightshows when multiple fixtures are linked together in master/slave configuration. The Z4 itself boasts four built-in programs. The unique effects continue with the option to utilize slow-fast strobing, ideal for DJs, venues, and event organizers catering to clubbers and younger crowds. The effects can be easily triggered and dimmed 0-100% to match the mood of the event.
Control options are in no shortage on the Z4, which gives users access to Sound Active, Show, and DMX-Controlled operational modes. DMX can be controlled on a 16-, 19-, and 22-channel basis, and the ADJ UC IR wireless remote (sold separately) is also compatible. Users can also use the Airstream IR App for iOS devices for basic control from the convenience of their iPad or iPhone.
