Native Instruments has released its new portable all-in-one Traktor Kontrol S5 DJ system.
Boasting an intuitive workflow brought to life via touch-sensitive controls, full color displays, and compatibility with the new multi-track Stems audio format, the Kontrol S5 aims to revolutionize the way DJs can use Traktor. The touch-sensitive knobs and a pair of multi-purpose touch strips can trigger a host of views, panels, and functions on the unit’s high-resolution displays, allowing DJs to focus less on their laptops and more on the crowd.
For users taking advantage of Stem files in Traktor Pro 2, the S5’s performance pads allow for control of individual stems when mixing. The controller also features an integrated 24-bit/48kHz interface with both XLR and RCA master outputs, one ¼-inch booth output, and an independent standalone RCA or ¼-inch AUX channel input.
