HARMAN’s JBL Professional has announced the EON618S, an 18-inch, 1000W powered subwoofer boasting wireless control and true low-frequency extension.
Weighing in at 78 pounds, the JBL EON618S offers a maximum of SPL output of 134 dB, a frequency range of 3Hz-150Hz (-10 dB), and a frequency response of 42.5Hz-150Hz (-3 dB). Designed to be lightweight and rugged, the subwoofer is capable of deliver clear and powerful sound regardless of its environment. DSP parameters can be controlled via a Bluetooth app for both iOS and Android devices, and selectable crossover presets are available through the EON Connect app. Additionally, the EON618S is tuned for optimal performance with JBL EON610, JBL EON612, and JBL EON615 full-range systems.
Other enhancements to the unit include the addition of premium handles, a standard M20 threaded pole cup, and a rugged enclosure that maximizes cabinet volume while maintaining transportability.
