Top DJs from around the country are at the Expo to spread their wealth of knowledge. “If you’re not educating your mind,” says Adam Weitz, “you’re wasting your time.”
Jeff Jones of Direct Sounds DJs in Gilbert, Ariz., has attended his share of DJ shows. “The things I tend to go for are workshops or seminars,” he says. “I look for a workshop or seminar that will really impact my performance or business. Performance workshops include MC classes and music-mixing classes. I want to learn something I can take back and use right away.”
