Jeff Jones of Direct Sounds DJs in Gilbert, Ariz., has attended his share of DJ shows. “The things I tend to go for are workshops or seminars,” he says. “I look for a workshop or seminar that will really impact my performance or business. Performance workshops include MC classes and music-mixing classes. I want to learn something I can take back and use right away.”
