Propellerhead Software has released Reason 8.3, the latest update to its popular DAW.
The 8.3 update introduces the RV7000mkII, a powerful upgrade to Reason’s cornerstone reverb that adds a sophisticated new convolution engine. Users can select from a broad selection of reverbs to suit the sound of any project, with spaces ranging from crawlspaces and bathrooms to grand auditoriums and stairwells. Producers can load any of the supplied impulse responses or create their own otherworldly reverb effects.
Reason 8.3 also includes other highly requested features, like accessing the browser window from both the sequencer and the rack window. Users can now simply hit the Z key to quickly zoom to and from a selection, and the MIDI focus can now be set without going into the sequencer. Users who update will gain access to the new Propellerhead music-making service, which allows you to create, share, collaborate, and remix with other musicians around the globe.
Reason 8.3 is a free downloadable update for Reason 8 owners. For more information, go to PropellerHeads.se
