m.O.N.R.O.E. has teamed up with Daniel Dubb for a dark remix of Peace Division’s classic track “Club Therapy,” which is available as a free download exclusively on DJ Times.
It’s all about the drums in the pair’s sinister tech-house rework of the track, which features an entrancing groove that underscores a spoken monologue about the magic of the music in a nightclub. Sleek house piano chords give the gritty track a melodic edge, which would sound right at home in dim warehouse parties from Brooklyn, NY to Birmingham, UK. It’s a masterful production for the two hotshot DJ/producers, with Daniel Dubb having just released his debut LP and m.O.N.R.O.E.—real name Jordan Postrel—fresh off his solo EP on Get Physical.
