Hot off a chart-topping remix of “Liquid Spirit” and a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix earlier this year, Claptone has returned with a preview of a debut LP this autumn in the form of new single “Dear Life.”
On “Dear Life,” Claptone reunites with French vocalist Jaw, who previously collaborated on 2013’s “No Eyes.” The track is a guitar-driven slice of breezy house out now via Exploited. Powerful kicks and melodic piano strikes give the track an undeniable groove that’s laced with enough mystery to match Claptone’s enigmatic gold masks.
