American DJ is bringing power and portability together with its lightweight Dotz Par 100 fixture.
The Dotz Par 100 is a compact LED par fixture equipped with a single ultra-bright 100W tri-color (RGB) COB LED source, effectively harnessing the power of multiple smaller units. The LED source allows users to generate immersive washes of tri-color lighting with palettes of smoothly mixed colors.
Capable of widespread washes and impactful uplighting effects, the unit’s 80-degree beam angle—adjustable to a concentrated 25-degrees using the supplied lens kit—enables immersive coverage of dancefloors, stages, and more. The fixture also features pixel-mapping capabilities for enhanced creative freedom.
The Dotz Par 100 is equipped with 32 built-in color macros and a range of preset programs, allowing users to begin lighting right from the start. Users can enhance the color displays using LED pulse and strobe effects, and the fixture’s output can be dimmed 0-100%. Sound Active and Auto Run modes are built in, and the unit gives users a choice between Color Macro and Dimmer modes. DMX-controlled settings are available in four channel modes: 3-, 4-, 5-, and 9-channel. The ADJ Par RF wireless remote control can also be used for control over basic features. Multiple Dotz Par 100s can be DMX-linked via 3-pin XLR connections, and the power supply allows users to run up to nine units at 110V.
