Audio-Technica has announced that its ATH-M70x Professional Monitor Headphones are now shipping.
The ATH-M70x represent the newest flagship model in A-T’s M-Series headphone line, and are designed to bring out added detail in the mix. The new headphones feature proprietary 45 mm large-aperture drivers with rare earth magnets and copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils and are tuned to accurately reproduce extreme low and high frequencies (from 5 to 40,000 Hz) while maintaining balance. The ATH-M70x also feature a rugged metal design that are ideal for studio mixing/tracking, DJ use, personal listening, mastering, post-production, and audio forensics.
The headphones were created with durability in mind, with a collapsible, space-saving design as well as 90-degree swiveling earcups for easy, one-ear monitoring. A maximum power input of 2,000 mW allows for low distortion at even the highest of vlumes, and detachable professional-grade earpads provide comfort for listeners. Additionally, circumanural design contours around the ears for enhaned sound isolation in loud environments.
