KORG is putting the power of its synthesizers into the palm of your hands with the kaossilator 2S, debuting today at Anaheim, CA’s Winter NAMM show.

The kaossilator 2S is an enhanced version of KORG’s original palm-sized synth, and the new unit has been redesigned to include new features and more user friendly functions. The new loop-based synthesizes features unlimited undo/redo functionality and also allows users to export multi-track audio data as an .als file for immediate use in Ableton Live. Users can arrange and modify ideas, perform/record new parts, and arrange and mix songs through Ableton Live’s Session and Arrangement workflows, and audio files can also be manually imported into any other DAW that a user prefers.

Recording is streamlined by merely requiring users to push the REC button, and the kaossilator 2S is equipped with 150 sound programs to meet the needs of every dance music style as well as battery operation and built-in speakers to allow users to play anytime and anywhere.

“There are no other synthesizers that have an ‘X-Y touchpad’ for simple and intuitive operation,” said James Sajeva, Product Manager for Korg. “Few other hardware products work with Ableton Live the way kaossilator 2S does, making it a great tool for serious music production.”
