After announcing a new artist album due out this Spring on Sony/RCA, Giorgio Moroder has unveiled a preview of the music video for “Right Here, Right Now,” his new collaboration with Australian pop star Kylie Minogue.
“Right Here, Right Now” marries Moroder’s disco history with Kylie Minogue’s dreamy dancefloor pop, with smooth basslines and funky whomps crafting a sleek groove. It’s a breezy, laid-back affair that shows some influence—heard in robotic vocodered effects throughout—from Moroder’s recent work with Daft Punk while remaining characteristically unique.
The new track acts as the next official single from the star studded LP, which is slated to include appearances from Britney Spears, Sia, and Charli XCX. Additionally, the pair has previewed the song’s official video, which looks to be a streamlined exhibition of glossy shots of both Minogue and Moroder. Watch the preview below.
