Verboten Readies Grand Opening of Williamsburg Event Venue

By  |

Verboten has maintained a foothold on Brooklyn clubbing events for years, and the company is now set to open its long-awaited eponymous venue this weekend in Williamsburg.

The new 750-person capacity venue is a 10,000 square foot former metal manufacturing warehouse equipped with a one-of-a-kind Martin Audio sound system designed by ITI Audio, ROBE intelligent lighting showcase, panoramic HD video wall, and Waking Dream-designed video projections and 3D mappings. The venue is divided into two rooms: the main Control Room that features a 1,400 square foot wood dance floor, multiple staging areas, and raised modular seating, and the adjoining, intimate Cabaret Bar.

Additionally, Verboten has revealed its grand opening weekend talent, which kicks off this Friday, March 14 with Rebel Rave featuring Damian Lazarus, Francesca Lombardo, and more. Other acts scheduled to play during March include Magda, Jamie xx, and a DJ set from Cut Copy, with Carl Craig, Josh Wink, Justin Martin, Tiga, and more set to play later this year.
