Ultra Europe Wraps Up Successful First Year With Festival in Croatia

The inaugural edition of Ultra Europe took place over the weekend in Croatia, with the festival hosting over 103,000 attendees during the three-day event. The first two days of Ultra Europe—which is now the largest festival to ever have been held on Croatian soil—took place in the Poljud Stadium in Split, while the third day was an exclusive pool party a short trip across the Adriatic Sea at the Hotel Amfora Grand Beach Resort.

The first two days were broadcast live via UMF TV to over 700,000 fans and featured sets from Avicii, Fedde Le Grand, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, among others. The final day included performances from Chuckie, Dada Life, Nervo, Cazzette, and headliner Steve Aoki, who played to an exclusive 5,000 partygoers.

The organizers of Ultra Europe have announced plans to bring the festival back in 2014, with dates to be announced at a later time. To tide fans over, festival favorite Kryoman has released an aftermovie full of footage from his performance and the rest of the event.
