Tiesto Premieres ‘Light Years Away’ Video

By  |

Fresh off the success of his newest studio album A Town Called Paradise, Tiësto has unveiled the video for his latest single “Light Years Away.”

The track serves as follow-up to his crossover smashes “Red Lights” and “Wasted” from earlier this year and features vocals from DBX. The video reflects the interstellar imagery of the track’s title, showcasing a distant galaxy being explored by a team in search of organic life. Slick effects and colorful imagery serve as a fitting visual for the track’s big hooks and addictive melody. Watch the video below.

The release comes at the tail end of a busy week for the Dutch DJ/producer, who helped compose a medley of three tracks from his album—“Footprints,” “Rocky,” and “Red Lights”—to serve as the soundtrack for the Fountains of Bellagio water show in Las Vegas. The endeavor marks the first show for the Fountains of Bellagio to be set to electronic dance music and the first time a composer has collaborated with fountain creators WET on the choreography of the water.
