Atlantic City, N.J. – We’re happy to announce several new mobile-oriented sessions at DJ Expo, set for Aug. 12-15 at AC’s Trump Taj Mahal. They include:
“Nightmare DJs: Don’t Do That!”: From appearance to follow-up snafus, North Carolina jock Joe Bunn will outline what not to do and he’ll begin his seminar with a self-produced video of the tactics employed by a nightmare DJ.
“50 Ways to Up Your Game”: Presented by Beantown Sound’s Sam Lurie, this session will show DJs how to improve their business and increase their income with ideas that range from the simple to the impossible-sounding.
“Hey Kids! Children’s Entertainment for DJs”: Massachusetts mobile Rob Peters will explore performing children’s entertainment beyond school dances and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. Peters will introduce ideas and concepts that will help DJs discover how performing for kids can be a profitable addition to their existing DJ businesses.
“Mock Mitzvah with Big Daddy”: Helmed by Sean “Big Daddy” McKee, this workshop will show you how to take your mitzvah skills to a new level, and it will feature some of the finest mobile talents anywhere.
“How the DJ Expo Grew My Business—And How It Can for Yours”: Maryland Mobile Steve Moody (from Steve Moody’s Entertainment Connection) will talk about the trajectory of his business and how the Expo has impacted it.
“All-Star MCs”: Six entertainers, 15 minutes each—where entertainment and instruction meet.
“Let The Music Play.” New Jersey jock Mike Walter offers fascinating tales about the songs and artists that we spin on a regular basis.
