Style of Eye Announces New Album ‘Footprints’ & Releases “Love Looks” Video

By  |

Style of Eye—one half of Swedish production duo Galantis and producer of Icona Pop’s radio smash “I Love It”—has announced his new album Footprints later as well as releasing the video for the single “Love Looks.”

Footprints serves as the follow-up to Style of Eye’s 2008 debut Duck, Cover, and Hold and is due out October 7 on Sony Music. The Swedish DJ/producer describes the album’s creative process as a result of “[wanting] to break loose from what [he] was doing and explore the stuff that [he] was hearing and liking at the time.” His previous two singles “Kids” and “The Game” are also set to feature on the album.

Style of Eye—real name Linus Eklow—has also revealed the video for the album’s third single “Love Looks” with Lars Allertz. The video pairs the progressive house track’s acoustic guitar strums, euphoric synth lines, and catchy vocal hooks with footage of people participating in the Furrie subculture. “Love Looks” is set for release on July 22 via Ultra Records.
