Steve Aoki Postpones Madison Square Garden Performance & Album Release

By  |

Steve Aoki has announced the postponement of the release of his upcoming album Neon Future I and its accompanying Madison Square Garden show in New York City. The album—originally due out August 12 via Dim Mak records—has been pushed back to September 30, with Aoki citing “additional production needs on the existing tracks” as the reason for the delay.

Consequentially, the America’s Best DJ nominee has rescheduled his August 16 performance at Madison Square Garden to a yet unannounced date. Each ticket was set to include a copy of the new album, which accounts for the delay. A new date is being scheduled, but all fans will receive refunds through Ticketmaster in addition to gaining early access to tickets to the make-up show.
