Skrillex, Major Lazer, & More Join Hangout Lineup

Hangout Music Festival has announced the lineup for its sixth installment ahead of its return to Gulf Shores, AL taking place May 15-17.

This year’s edition once again leans strongly toward rock acts—with headliners including Foo Fighters, Zac Brown Band, Beck, and My Morning Jacket—for its beachfront festivites, although a smattering of electronic acts have made the cut. Skrillex and Major Lazer join the headlining roster, while Krewella and Adventure Club will also make appearances. Other electronic names confirmed for the fest include Odesza, Griz, Gramatik, Robert Delong, and Goldroom.

This year’s festival will be the result of a new joint venture with Goldenvoice, the production team behind Coachella. Hangout Festival founder Shaul Zislin spoke of the new partnership, saying:

“From the beginning, the Hangout Music Festival’s main priority has been to create an incredible fan experience. With our recently announced partnership with Goldenvoice, who produce top festivals including Coachella, we have found a partner that shares our vision in both fan experience and music programming. This partnership offers an exciting opportunity for the overall enhancement of Hangout.”
