German audio product manufacturer Sennheiser has unveiled its new HD headphone range aimed at DJs and producers at this week’s CES 2014 tradeshow in Las Vegas. The HD series is inspired by its famed HD 25 model, and was designed with extended use in and out of the booth in mind. The new line consists of three models: the HD 8 DJ, the HD 7 DJ, and HD 6 MIX. The HD 8 DJ is aimed specifically at the needs of professional DJs with a focus on top-notch sound reproduction, while HD 7 DJ’s dynamic sound was designed for live performances. Both DJ pairs feature 210° swiveling ear cups and three wearing positions, and deliver an emphasis on the mid-low end while retaining clarity in higher frequencies.

The HD 6 MIX, on the other hand, is built for studio-based music creation. The MIX model is primarily focused on sound accuracy and balance for mixing and monitoring work. All three models, however, feature high-quality, replaceable parts that are guaranteed to remain comfortable even during long periods of use.

Sennheiser’s HD headphone range is due for release soon. For more information, go here.
