Having already made stops in New York City, London, Cape Town, and many other cities, Red Bull Music Academy will make its Japanese debut in October 2014 when it travels to Tokyo. While details of specific events have yet to be announced, RBMA has put on numerous music festivals, performances, and seminars over the past 15 years, from a studio lecture with Four Tet to a DJ set from Giorgio Moroder earlier this year.

To give the public a taster of what is to come next year, the RBMA hosted the Red Bull Music Academy Weekender this past weekend in Tokyo. Over the four days, RBMA played host to eight shows, conceptual performances, and seminars, ranging from a set from Daedelus to a record, book, and art fair in Tokyo.

More detailed information on Red Bull Music Academy Tokyo is expected to be announced soon. People interested in attending the Red Bull Music Academy and its lectures will be able to apply beginning in January and will be available at
