While there, participants will participate in lectures and workshops, collaborate in the Red Bull Music Academy’s custom studios, and perform as part of a festival of events within Tokyo’s most iconic venues. Lecturers for this year’s edition have yet to be announced, but previous incarnations have included Bob Moog, Giorgio Moroder, Flying Lotus, M.I.A., and James Murphy.
