PREMIERE: Sydney Blu – ‘Vnderground’ EP

By  |

Fresh off the release of the moody tech house thumper “My Neighbors Hate Me” last month, Sydney Blu is back with the Vnderground EP, premiering exclusively at DJ Times.

Due out via Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records on January 5, 2015, the new EP includes two new tracks from her upcoming artist album Relentless.

The EP’s title track is a maelstrom of rolling bass and powerful kicks, both of which set the stage for a deeply entrancing tech house groove. It’s an aggressive bomb that’s matched with the manic electricity of the track’s unhinged vocal sample, which adds a sinister air to the raucous proceedings. On the EP’s flip side, “It Doesn’t Matter” takes on a deeper vibe with dreamy soundscapes underpinning Sydney Blu’s own mimicry of an ex-boyfriend’s default response to fights.
