Premiere: Hear Jesse Calosso’s ‘Scratch That’ from New EP on The Martinez Bros. Label

The Martinez Brothers launched their Cuttin’ Headz imprint last year, and they’re continuing the stream of fire from the label with The Incoming EP from friend Jesse Calosso.

Having grown up in the Bronx alongside the Martinez Brothers, Calosso has a longstanding relationship with the tight-nit New York club scene. Since then, he’s toured with the boys as well as played events like Ibiza’s Circoloco and Seth Troxler’s Acid Future.

Calosso’s latest is a four-tracker for Cuttin’ Headz, bringing fiery percussion-focused productions to the forefront in a neat package that’s ready to be digested by dancefloors everywhere. The full EP is due out November 27, but DJ Times is giving you a sneak peek of the release with the full-length premiere of “Scratch That.”

On “Scratch That,” Calosso delivers an absolutely thrilling high-BPM techno ride, from its opening bass guitar lines to its glitchy bleeps and bloops.
